Who we are
Remactables is a registered business name operated by Rema Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 87 684 280 073), located at Kiosk 3/111 Cecil St, South Melbourne Central VIC 3205, Australia ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
Order information: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and details of the products you purchase.
Payment information: payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Communications: emails and messages you send us, including return requests and photos you provide.
Technical data: device type, browser, IP address and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our site.
Why we collect it
To process and deliver your orders and provide order updates.
To respond to enquiries, process returns and provide customer support.
To improve our website, product range and service.
To meet our legal obligations, including tax and consumer law requirements.
To send marketing emails — only if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to run our store:
Squarespace — our website and e-commerce platform, which hosts our store and order data.
Payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) — to process your payment securely.
Australia Post and delivery carriers — to deliver your order (name, address, contact details only).
Google — analytics and advertising services that help us understand site traffic.
Some of these providers store data on servers located outside Australia (for example, in the United States). Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies that are necessary for the shopping cart and checkout to function, and optional analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using a platform with SSL encryption on all pages. We keep order records for as long as required by Australian tax and consumer law (generally 7 years), then delete or de-identify them.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing remaenterprises7@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
